ZUMBA

Ditch the Workout, Join the Party. Zumba Fitness is here! The Zumba Program fuses hypnotic Latin Rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a one of a kind fitness program that will blow you away! You can burn 400 – 800 calories in just one hour! Drop In Classes are offered every Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00pm – 8:00pm for $4 per class and Saturday mornings from 9:30am - 10:30am for $3 per class. GROUP POWER

Group Power is YOUR hour of POWER! This 60 minute barbell program strengthens all of your major muscle groups in an inspiring, motivating group environment with fantastic music and awesome instructors. With simple, athletic movements such as squats, lunges, presses and curls, Group Power is for all ages and fitness levels. Discover results...Discover Group Power! Mondays and Thursdays from 6:00pm - 7:00pm for $4 per class and Saturdays from 9:00am -10:00am for $3 per class. Monthly rates will begin in September.

  RECESS PLANET FITNESS AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM!

Looking for an EXCITING AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM! Look no more. Recess Planet is coming to the Butts County Community Center for the 2010-2011 school year. At Recess Planet your child will experience Fitness Dance, Tumbling, Speed & Agility Programs, Homework Assistance and receive daily snacks. Transportation from Butts County Public Schools to the Community Center is provided FREE of charge! The weekly fee for Recess Planet After School Program is $55/week. Check it out at our Open House. Saturday, July 24th or Saturday, July 31, 2010 11:00am - 3:00pm at the Butts County Community Center.

RIDE FOR RESTORATION 2010

The Department will be hosting the 5th Annual Ride for Restoration. The ride will be held on Saturday, October 2nd and offer a 34.9 mile and a 58.9 mile option. Both options will begin at the Butts County Community Center. Individual fee is $25. Register online at www.active.com.
